Community Guidelines

Philanthropy Massachusetts seeks to create a welcoming, safe and respectful space to enhance the open exchange of ideas. We are committed to fostering an environment of humility, exploration and courage.

To this end, our expectations are that program and network participants:

  • Respect confidentiality. Share ideas, not IDs. Take the learnings with you.
  • Accept that different truths can coexist. Practice “both/and” thinking.
  • Maintain and foster a safe space; restore when necessary.
  • Honor all forms of participation and engagement.

In the event you believe these expectations are not being followed, please reach out to a member of the Philanthropy Massachusetts team. All feedback will be taken in confidence.

In-Person Protocol

Prior to attending an in-person event, Philanthropy MA expects each person to take the necessary precautions to ensure their own health and safety as well as for those around them. This includes being fully vaccinated and in good health prior to attending an event. The wearing of masks is optional, and we encourage each person to do what is best for them to feel comfortable in attendance. We will not be enforcing mask wearing. This policy is subject to change based on CDC and/or city and state guidelines. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us. We want to ensure all feel safe and welcome at our programs.
