Behavioral Health Funders Network: Annual Policy Update

Join the conversation with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services Undersecretary Mary McGeown and the President and CEO of the Massachusetts Association of Mental Health Danna Mauch.  

Undersecretary McGeown will provide an overview of the Administration’s behavioral health priorities, an update on key programs, and the implications of recent federal actions for the state’s FY27 budget.
 
Danna Mauch will provide an update on her conversations with national behavioral health experts and policy partners on the national climate and  highlight how MAMH is tracking the federal policy impact.
 
Both will reflect on their impressions and potential role for  philanthropy.

About the Network:

The Behavioral Health Funders Network (BHFN) is a state-wide network of funders working in the area of behavioral and mental health and wellness. For over 4 years the Network has been meeting regularly for peer learning, knowledge sharing, and relationship building. Key norms of this Network are trust, confidentiality, and a learning/growth mindset. The stated goals of the Network are: 1) Improve behavioral health services by providing a space and opportunity for learning from one another, and 2) Exchange information with the potential for collaboration on projects ranging in size from large, overarching initiatives to smaller community-based projects.
