In our survey of this Network, “Exchange ideas and identify opportunities for co-funding” ranked as the highest priority for your work together. This goes hand in hand with easing the burden on potential grant partners through streamlining and collaborating around grantmaking practices.

Building off of our last meeting which focused on how funders across the region are doing things differently in their application processes, this meeting will look at various forms funder collaboration can take, the benefits, potential challenges, solutions, and next steps. Areas of collaboration to focus on include building buy-in, applications, site visits, and sharing grantseeker information.

About the Network:

The Cape Cod and Islands Funders Network exists to deepen our collective impact as funders, especially related to identifying innovative solutions to key needs on the Cape, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. As a Network, we desire to strengthen, adapt, and potentially streamline grantmaking practices with the goal of making grantseeking easier for Nonprofit Organizations (NPOs).

In our time together we expect to learn from our peers and external content providers.

Finally, we hope to strengthen relationships amongst grantmakers across the Cape and the Islands.
