In this one hour virtual roundtable we will discuss how climate changes affects most everything that funders care about. From arts, to housing, immigration and education, climate change permeates virtually every issue. Whether you consider yourself an “environmental funder” or not, climate change is a cause and an effect influencing everyday lives. No one is untouched.
The Roundtable is intended to be a conversation starter which will benefit from participation of both seasoned and newly curious climate funders. Peer to peer learning will help expand the group's thinking about connections between climate change and all other areas of funding.
On hand to share context, insights, and strategies for climate change related funding will be:
- Lisa Spalding, TPI
- Jenny Russell, Executive Director, Merck Family Fund
- Sarah Christiansen, Program Director, Solidago Foundation
- Gioia Perugini, Associate Director, Family Office and Philanthropy Services, Hemenway & Barnes
The program is developed by Philanthropy Massachusetts together with Jenny Russell and Lisa Spalding.
This virtual roundtable will use the Zoom platform. Access information will be shared with registrants by email one week and one day before the program.
