Engage, Inform, Persuade: Data Storytelling Workshop

This program is free to participants thanks to the generous sponsorship of Berkshire Funding Focus.

Nonprofit organizations often feel pressure to demonstrate impact, report on outcomes, and make the case for continued support, all while juggling limited time and resources. In these moments, the ability to tell your story with data becomes essential.

This interactive virtual workshop is designed to help nonprofit leaders build confidence in using data as a storytelling tool. Through concrete examples, guided reflection, and small group conversations, participants will explore practical ways to bring data to life, making it easier to engage key groups, deepen understanding, and highlight the work that matters most.

In this Workshop, Participants Will:

• Review key concepts and terminology related to data, evaluation, and outcomes
• Explore best practices for turning data into clear, emotionally resonant narratives
• Reflect on their organization’s unique challenges and goals around communicating data
• Exchange ideas and strategies with peers facing similar questions and pressures

Who Should Attend:

This session is for nonprofit professionals who want to strengthen how they communicate about their organization’s work. Whether you’re preparing an annual report, drafting a grant proposal, or speaking to donors and funders, this workshop offers tools and insights you can use right away.
