Fundraising Friday: MA Legislative Update & Nonprofit Voter Guide

As Massachusetts winds down its legislative session and national politics heat up, join us and our guest Jessica Seney, Senior Policy Associate with the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network, to hear about recent developments in state law and learn how you and your organization can be changemakers for your cause.

First, we will review policy changes from the 2023-2024 legislative session that impact nonprofits and discuss likely priorities for the next session. We will provide information about how you and your organization can get involved in advocacy to help promote your work, and we will encourage all participants to engage their constituencies in our democracy by inviting participants to utilize MNN’s state voter guide.

Fundraising Fridays are monthly hour-long “coffee talks” facilitated by thought leaders from the social sector. These discussion groups, held at 9:00 am the first Friday of each month, are free and open to any and all nonprofit professionals and volunteers interested in fundraising and development issues (EDs, DDs, development staff, volunteer leaders, consultants, etc.). Participants will come away with a greater understanding of the topic at hand and connections to nonprofit peers who share similar interests and concerns.
