Fundraising Friday: Meet Candid Staff and Learn Why Your Org Should Go for Gold on GuideStar!

Join us and our special guests from Candid to learn about Guidestar and why it is important for your nonprofit to go for a Gold Seal of Transparency. Nonprofits with annual revenue or expenses totaling less than $1M who earn a Gold Seal of Transparency are eligible to receive a free year of access to Foundation Directory Essential through Candid’s Go for the Gold promotion. Learn how to claim your profile and use it to showcase your impact and boost your online presence.

We will also highlight lesser-known Candid resources like the free e-book library and Knowledge Base, a treasure trove of online trainings.

Fundraising Fridays are monthly hour-long “coffee talks” facilitated by thought leaders from the social sector. These discussion groups, held at 9:00 am the first Friday of each month, are free and open to any and all nonprofit professionals and volunteers interested in fundraising and development issues (EDs, DDs, development staff, volunteer leaders, consultants, etc.). Participants will come away with a greater understanding of the topic at hand and connections to nonprofit peers who share similar interests and concerns.
