Grantmakers of Color: Community Pulse Check
As we navigate a rapidly shifting federal landscape, this gathering creates space for connection, honest conversation, and community care. Together, we will revisit our network’s charter, reflect on insights from our recent member survey, and engage in activities that help us understand what our organizations, our grantees, and Grantmakers of color need most going into 2026.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
Explore how current federal policy changes are affecting your work and your grantee partners
Identify immediate supports and resources you need heading into 2026
Take part in interactive breakout discussions that center collaboration and shared wisdom
Contribute to a community resource bank featuring books, films, practices, and tools that have sustained us over the past three years
Help build our collective music playlist and share your “B-side” — the stories, strengths, and experiences that don’t always make it into the spotlight
Close the year with gratitude, reflection, and intention setting for 2026
This convening is designed to nourish both the strategic and the human sides of our work. We hope you’ll join us for a thoughtful, restorative, and forward-looking program as we close out 2025 and step into the next phase of the GOC Network together.
