In partnership with Hyde Square Task Force and MA Arts Funders Learning Collaborative, Philanthropy Massachusetts invites you to experience Boston's Latin Quarter in Hyde/Jackson Square neighborhood of Jamaica Plain.
The site visit will spotlight Boston’s Latin Quarter neighborhood, its institutions, and community members. Participants on the visit will learn about the meaning of the Latin Quarter designation. Through the visit we will reflect on how strengthening arts and culture is part of a strategy for affirming cultural identity and building inclusive economic development.
The site visit includes a film screening, walking tour, and lunch time conversation with community members. This program is accessible by the MBTA.
