With COVID related restrictions easing up in Massachusetts, this timely session will focus on what arts and culture organizations are facing, planning, and implementing as they anticipate reopening. We will hear from key arts intermediaries and sector consultants about pain points and needs, as well as potential opportunities. 

Catherine Peterson, Executive Director of ArtsBoston and Dawn Simmons, Executive Director of StageSource will share analysis based on surveys and their connections to their members across the state. Susan Nelson of TDC will report on highlights from a recent survey of arts and culture executive leaders. We anticipate the conversation will be rich with ideas about the role for funders in this period of transition.

After presentations by, and discussion with, our guests, we will move into funder-only small groups based on discussion topics of interest. If there is a topic of interest that you would like to discuss with peers in a small group, email it to Jessica Berns.

Massachusetts Arts Funders' Network bi-monthly meetings provide a learning opportunity on an issue or trend facing the arts and cultural community coupled with a chance to network and update colleagues on their current work, challenges, and opportunities in a roundtable format.

Philanthropy MA does not provide refunds, but a credit good for one year may be issued for future events if notice of nonattendance is received three or more business days prior to the event. If you need to cancel your event registration, please email Philanthropy MA staff at info@philanthropyma.org.

No Solicitations: Philanthropy MA values knowledge sharing – connecting people with each other and with information. We strive to create a welcoming, collegial atmosphere at all of our events. We kindly ask program participants to refrain from soliciting other participants for business or grants while at events hosted by us, regardless of venue.
