This session explores the intersection of arts and culture and real estate. Our speakers from Arts and Business Council, City of Boston, Mass Cultural Council, and New Atlantic Development will address the questions below, drawing on examples from different parts of the state. Working artists Cristina Todesco (Stage Designer) and Joshua Rose-Wood (Architect) will also join us.
- How is capital funding accessed and structured?
- What are challenges to accessing capital?
- Are there other ways to consider capital?
- How do we consider equity in access to capital?
- What isn’t working with philanthropy and what could change? How?
About the Network:
Massachusetts Arts Funders' Network bi-monthly meetings provide a learning opportunity on an issue or trend facing the arts and cultural community coupled with a chance to network and update colleagues on their current work, challenges, and opportunities in a roundtable format.

Please reach out to info@philanthropyma.org if you believe you are registered for this program and do not receive the link.
Registration & Program Follow-up Materials: Registration for the program will be closed at 2pm EST on the day before the program is scheduled to take place. If you register after this point, you will be added to the waitlist and will be able to receive the program recording as well as all follow-up materials from the session. For fee-based Nonprofit Partner programs, you can request these materials for a discounted rate. Please note that it may take up to a week to prepare and disseminate those materials to all registrants.
