This session explores the intersection of arts and culture and real estate. Our speakers from Arts and Business Council, City of BostonMass Cultural Council, and New Atlantic Development will address the questions below, drawing on examples from different parts of the state. Working artists Cristina Todesco (Stage Designer) and Joshua Rose-Wood (Architect) will also join us.

  • How is capital funding accessed and structured?
  • What are challenges to accessing capital?
  • Are there other ways to consider capital?
  • How do we consider equity in access to capital?
  • What isn’t working with philanthropy and what could change? How?
