The 2025 Greater Boston Jewish Community Study is a landmark initiative to understand the size, diversity, engagement, and needs of our Jewish community. Please join us to hear key findings and consider together how grantmakers can use this data to shape strategies for the coming years.
This session will feature reflections and insights from Shani Wilkes, Associate Vice President of Research and Evaluation at CJP, who led the design and execution of the 2025 study and directed the data analysis. Joining her is Catharyn Gildesgame, a member of CJP’s Board of Directors and Chair of the Community Investments Committee, a Board committee that is using the community study data to inform CJP’s grantmaking efforts going forward.
Together, we’ll explore:
What the data reveal about Jewish life in Greater Boston today and strategic priorities for communal engagement and a caring, secure and thriving community
How community members express identity, connection, and belonging
How funders can use innovative tools—like CJP’s new interactive data platform—to access and act on what we have heard from the community
We hope that you can join us for what we hope will be an illuminating and thought-provoking conversation about how this data about our community can be used to drive meaningful change.
