Zoom - information to be emailed
Grantmaker, Philanthropic Advisor
Access to quality health care is a perennial challenge in low-income communities; legal aid has a long track record of helping overcome hurdles to better health. Medical-legal partnerships* are a demonstrably successful model for creating better and more equitable care for patients and their communities.
This session will be of interest to funders and advisors:
- Seeking to promote the health of underserved populations
- Committed to reducing health inequities
- Considering the adoption or expansion of legal aid funding strategies
- Seeking to increase their impact
*Medical legal partnerships: legal advocates are embedded in health care settings to help immediately address legal issues that affect good health outcomes.
