Join Philanthropy Massachusetts as we take the Meet-the-Donors program to a region that is steeped in history and home to rich cultural treasures and a vibrant nonprofit community! Stay on with us for the day if you wish for a free Introduction to Grants Research workshop taught by Philanthropy Massachusetts staff.

Meet-the-Donors is useful for those who are new to grantseeking and also helpful for those seasoned pros who want to pick up tidbits of info to add to their “toolbox.” The format includes a moderated intro portion with a “kick off” question, then the attendees work in groups to develop questions that are of interest to all in their group. The audience generated questions are posed to the panel by the moderator. It’s a great time for getting first hand info from funders about their particular foundations, tips on grantseeking in general, and networking with your peers!

Then for those who want to make the most of the day – join us for a complimentary Intro to Grants Research Class taught by Philanthropy Massachusetts staff. This is ideal for those who are new to grantseeking or anyone seeking a brush up! We also cover a range of other handy nonprofit resources. Find out more about the session here.

Refunds: When an event or program requires payment, payment is required in advance unless alternative arrangements have been made with an Philanthropy MA staff member. If payment has not been received and/or arrangements have not been made three or more business days before the event date, Philanthropy MA reserves the right to cancel your unpaid reservation. Philanthropy MA does not provide refunds, but a credit good for one year may be issued for future events if notice of nonattendance is received three or more business days prior to the event. If you need to cancel your event registration, please email Philanthropy MA staff at info@philanthropyma.org.

No Solicitations: Philanthropy MA values knowledge sharing – connecting people with each other and with information. We strive to create a welcoming, collegial atmosphere at all of our events. We kindly ask program participants to refrain from soliciting other participants for business or grants while at events hosted by us, regardless of venue.

Going Green: In our continued efforts to Go Green in the office, our first step is providing a water station in our conference room for use at our programs, replacing bottled water.
