One Year Later: How H.R. 1's SNAP and Medicaid Policy Changes Are Reverberating Across Mass. Communities

As we surpass one year since the July 2025 passage of H.R. 1., there continues to be significant and evolving implications to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Medicaid that are directly impacting food security rates, healthcare access and economic security. At the same time, philanthropy is increasingly being called on to help address emerging gaps. In this two-part series, funders will hear from expert community leaders in Mass. on the current realities and discuss roles and opportunities for philanthropy to take action.
