Program Staff Learning Network: Summer Social in the Seaport

Join us for a Program Staff Learning Network (PSLN) summer social in the Boston Seaport following the closing session of the Grantmakers for Effective Organizations (GEO) 2026 National Conference. The conference is being held in partnership with Philanthropy Massachusetts and focuses on Transforming Philanthropic Culture and Practice.

This social offers an opportunity to connect in person with your mid-to-senior level program staff peers from across the sector. For those who attend the GEO conference, we will offer space to debrief and reflect on what challenged you or resonated with you from the sessions. For those who do not attend GEO, you can share takeaways or actions inspired by other conferences or learning sessions this year. Either way, we welcome all PSLN members to come catch up, meet new people, have fun, and get inspired as we kick off summer!

Light refreshments will be served.

About the Network:

The Learning Network convenes mid to senior level program staff who share elements of a common program staff job description but work across issue areas and types of funding institutions. The purpose of the Learning Network is to create an ongoing, safe space for mid to senior level program staff to learn together, furthering their professional development alongside their peers. To participate in the Learning Network you must meet the following two criteria:
  1. Have worked in a professional setting for at least 10 years.
  2. Currently situated in philanthropy at a foundation or grantmaking program as mid to senior level program staff
