Program Staff Learning Network: Funder Support Nonprofit Collaboration
Overview
Nonprofits and public agencies are navigating increasing uncertainty,
shifting policies, and resource constraints. As these challenges grow, so does
the need for strong partnerships, strategic collaboration, and the ability to
adapt together with our peers in this work.
Collaboration among nonprofits takes many forms, ranging
from informal resource-sharing networks to structured collective action. This
session explores how funders are supporting collaboration across this spectrum
in deep partnership with communities. Through case studies and peer
discussions, participants will examine models for nonprofit collaboration,
reflect on and share their own learnings in funding collaboration, and identify
practical ways to strengthen their support for collaborative work.
Learning Objectives
- Explore
the spectrum of nonprofit collaboration and examples of how funders are
building strong, supportive partnerships for these collaborative efforts
- Share
and learn from peer experiences, challenges, and strategies for supporting
nonprofit collaboration
- Identify
opportunities to strengthen support for collaborative work, both to
address urgent needs and advance long-term systems change
Following the session there will be an office hour which we invite you to join us for.
