Small Business Development: Funder Learning Collaborative Meeting
We are thrilled to invite you to
our February Small Business Collaborative Network Meeting—a session
focused on learning from one another, deepening connections, and uncovering
ways to support impactful initiatives across our small business
ecosystem.
In our December meeting, it was clear there is a deep interest in continued
learning and gaining a deeper understanding of the projects and
initiatives already underway within our network. Instead of “reinventing the
wheel,” there are opportunities to collaborate, support, and amplify existing
work led by our peers.
What to Expect:
- Learn
from Your Peers: Spotlighting projects
and initiatives led by members of our network. Discover what they’re launching,
expanding, and achieving.
- Engage
and Participate: Are there ways for you
to support or collaborate on these initiatives? Gain insight into how projects
got started, their successes, and their challenges.
- Shape
Our Future Learning: Help us identify areas
where we can look beyond our network for inspiration and expertise—setting the
stage for our April meeting, which will spotlight leaders and best
practices from outside Massachusetts.
We look forward to seeing you in February and continuing this
journey together.
About the Collaborative:
Together as a group of funders, we will identify needs, set shared goals, and develop strategies to enhance the support system for small businesses in Massachusetts. As a participant, you'll engage in discussions, share insights, and explore innovative solutions with fellow funders, both via Zoom and occasionally in person. Join us if your foundation funds in this area and you have the availability to attend regular Collaborative meetings (approx 6 per year).
Please feel free to reach out to the project manager for this collaborative,
Karleen Porcena, if you have any questions.
