Successful “Site Visits”: Guidance, Strategies, and Tips for Funders and Nonprofits
This program for
nonprofits and funders is a follow up to the March 2024 session
Site Visits: Let’s Improve Them! at which more than 150 staff and volunteers from
philanthropic and nonprofit organizations shared their perspectives on the pros
and cons of site visits and how to improve them.
Since then, a
planning group of funder and nonprofit representatives synthesized key takeaways from the meeting and data from an earlier survey to develop
a guide titled Successful “Site Visits”: Guidance, Strategies, and Tips
for Funders and Nonprofits.
Join us for a
preview of the guide. Following the session, there will be opportunities to
share your feedback on the guide and help us determine what next steps we can
take together to further improve the “site visit” experience and strengthen
grantor/grantee relationships.
Our intention is to
house this guide and supporting documents on the Philanthropy MA website for
use by both the funder and nonprofit communities for years to come.
We hope it
will be a living document that will continue to develop based on your feedback and evolving needs.
Please note the
following guidelines we will follow:
•
This is a non-solicitation space.
•
When providing examples of site visits, names of nonprofits or funders will not
be named.
