Western MA Funders In-Person Network Meeting
Join fellow funder colleagues who fund in, and/or are based in, Western Mass (Berkshire, Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin Counties) for a lunchtime conversation at the beautiful
Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge.
We are thrilled to connect in person as a community of funders focused on Western Mass, and we also welcome funders interested in learning more about funding here. We are gathering to catch up, have lunch and explore funding that bridges all regions of Massachusetts.
Our speaking program will be a lively conversation with the new CEO of Philanthropy MA, Mary Skelton Roberts, together with Jim Canales, President and Trustee of the Barr Foundation and moderated by Alexandra Russell, Philanthropic Advisor, Trustee at the Beveridge Family Foundation and co-chair of the Western Mass Funders Network.
We’ll also hear from Lori Kiely, the Director of the Berkshire Bank Foundation and co-chair of the Western Mass Funders Network and Peter Taylor, President of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.
Funders are welcome to start arriving around 11:30am and our lunch and speaking program will begin at noon. The museum will also be open after the meeting for those who wish to explore.
We look forward to seeing you all at our summer lunch meeting on July 12th!
About the Network:
The Western MA Funders Network is an inclusive network for grantmakers funding in, or based in, the four counties of Western Massachusetts: Berkshire, Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin. The network exists as a peer community to support grantmakers in the region and ultimately, to create a positive impact throughout Western Massachusetts.
A Network priority is advancing racial equity through grantmaking in Western MA. The intent is to do this for, and with, the most marginalized in the communities of the region. Network members desire to keep learning, dialoging on a regular basis, and collaborating in its effort to advance racial equity through grantmaking.
