A Gathering of Funders Investing in Women, Girls & Gender Equity

This is a session for  women’s funds and women, girls and gender equity focused giving circles across Massachusetts AND those foundations and grantmaking institutions with a broader mission that includes a women, girls, and gender equity stream. This will be an initial exploratory conversation to identify synergies in our work and trends we are observing. We will reserve time to discuss whether a group such as this could meet with some consistency, around the following goals (not an exhaustive list):

  • Building communications between organizations
  • Information and resource sharing
  • Potential to identify shared objectives  and co-acquire and co-invest funds.

Join us to connect with peer funders from around the state who share a focus on women, girls, and gender equity. Let’s explore building an ongoing community and future collaborations.

This meeting is being planned jointly by Donna Haghighat (Women’s Fund of Western MA), Kristina Dakos (Women’s Initiative 4Progress), and Natanja Craig-Oquendo (Boston Women's Fund), with convening support from Philanthropy MA.
