Executive Director /MA IOLTA Committee
The Massachusetts Interest on Lawyers Trust Account Committee (IOLTA Committee) is seeking an Executive Director with a law degree and a minimum of five years of management or administration experience in the legal aid community, law firms, government, quasi-government or charitable organizations and a demonstrated commitment to social justice.
Responsibilities include maximizing revenue, developing positive relationships with civil legal services programs and bar associations to expand the delivery of legal services and IOLTA revenue, developing productive relationships with financial institutions, obtaining attorney and financial institution compliance with IOLTA rules, managing and supervising internal and external IOLTA operations with the Chief Financial Officer, proactively addressing and developing responses to legal and regulatory environment challenges to the IOLTA Committee and its objectives, participating in the modification of the Rules of Professional Conduct on client trust funds as necessary, and implementing the Olchowski decision with the Treasurer’s Office and the Board of Bar Overseers.
