The Philanthropy Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for supporting Just A Start’s Resource Development philanthropy program through effective and timely planning and implementation of grant applications, reports, and renewals.  The Philanthropy Partnerships Coordinator will lead and engage institutional partners to generate financial support and in-kind resources through research, proposal submission, and reporting. The Coordinator works closely with the Director of Philanthropy to strategize, steward, and maintain relationships with funders for long-term success, and will play a key role in launching a capital campaign and a corporate partnership program.

Starting salary $42,000 to $48,000. This is a 30-hour per week hybrid remote/in-the-office position and is entitled to full employee benefits, including medical insurance, dental insurance, short term disability insurance, long term disability insurance, life insurance, transportation benefits, 20 PTO days in the first year, 13 paid holidays, volunteer time off, employee assistance program and a 401k savings plan with a 3% employer contribution.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising/grant writing desired.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • An ability to collaborate effectively across departments and teams.
  • Computer Skills: proficient with Microsoft Office, including Power Point, Excel and Word., Google suite, Salesforce and social media experience a plus.
