Hoops & Homework is looking for a dynamic Program Director to oversee all programmatic operations. The Program Director will be responsible for all aspects of childcare including supervision of a diverse workforce at two different locations.Offering a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Job Description
Staff Management:
Recruit, hire, evaluate and train staff.
Operations Management:
Assist in financial management of the organization, budgeting, purchasing, and payroll. Develop an appropriate academic curriculum to support the social and emotional needs of each student. Create and implement a robust activity schedule that is consistent with the mission and vision of Hoops & Homework. The Program Director will ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations i.e. EEC, DCF etc. and support the Board of Directors initiatives. The Program Director will have a basic understanding of Individual Education Programs (IEP) and work in collaboration with Framingham Public Schools.
Community Relations:
Cultivate relationships with schools, local nonprofit agencies, and City and state resources. Generate a volunteer roster. Foster a healthy relationship with parents of the children who access Hoops &Homework.
Support Hoops and Homework Mission:
Assist in identifying fundraising opportunities through grant submissions and/or community activities.
