About the role:
All Dorchester Sports and Leadership is looking for a proactive, energetic, and creative individual who enjoys working with children to supervise our summer drop-in program.
Requirements:
Experience working with a large group of school grade children. Active individual willing and able to work outdoors for entire day. Must be punctual, reliable, and keep detailed records (attendance). Must have the ability to multitask and work under pressure. Must have a positive welcoming attitude.
Responsibilities:
The Program Supervisor will work with the Program Director to plan, coordinate, and oversee appropriate activities for allotted time and will direct both children and counselors to ensure the best program possible. Oversee and manage senior staff, as well as interact and engage with Youth staff and participants. The supervisor will assign and oversee staff to do daily chores and clean ups as needed. Supervisor will also be responsible for attendance & dismissal, Communication to parents, all staff and partner site.
